Kia’s Cakes & Cafe Grand Opening – October 15th

Kia’s Cakes has found a home at 16 South Lansdowne Ave. (where Patrone used to be.)  They grand opening is Sunday, October 15th from 2 – 8 p.m. There’ll be free samples, special prizes and more. They’ll carry all of your favorite goodies, custom cakes, and fresh baked deliciousness!  They are adding coffee, tea, and savory delights and a comforting, sit-down atmosphere for you to enjoy with free wi-fi, board games, puzzles, books and more!

Jamey’s House of Music Sunday Brunch & Jam Session – October 1st

Starting October 1st, and every Sunday thereafter.

Hosted by the PHILLY BLUES KINGS, featuring two sets of flaming hot blues followed by an open mic for blues and jazz players. Located at the Newly renovated Jamey’s House of Music in Lansdowne, the best small live venue and cafe in the region.

No reservations needed. Grab your favorite axe, a bottle of wine and some friends and head on over. Delicious brunch will be served all day. What a great way to begin the new week with a happy stomach and an ear full of some of the best blues and jazz in the east.
